Mary Anning Day
The beaches around Lyme Regis and Charmouth are the very best places to find fossils. Ammonites, belemnites and bones from ichthyosaurs are frequently uncovered by tides, particularly after a spell of rough weather.
Early Britons Day
Can you build your own shelter, cook on a fire and master the ancient skill of archery.
Biology and Geography
We can incorporate biology and geography fieldwork studies into your programme. These can include coastal processes, freshwater studies, fossil hunting, leisure and tourism, minibeasts, rocky shore studies, river studies and pollution. You may wish to look at our field studies website http://www.jurassiccoaststudycentre.com to see the full range of field studies offered.
''Another brilliant year! Thanks very much. The archery 'hit the mark', the blind trail was 'blinding' and the chefs were 'cooking with gas!' ''
